Relating needs room to evolve

The moment we really wake up here, we will realize that all of our experiences here are sacred. Part of us are still trying to keep things separated, and I’m not saying that interaction between two people is not sacred, I say, “Yes!” It’s very sacred, and I say, yes, dance with it however you need to for it to keep flourishing, but if we get too fixated, and too closed in, we do not leave enough room for our own growth, or the growth of the other. Part of it is that in any situation, you want to make sure that the interaction is big enough to accommodate both of the people in it. And it may need to continuously keep shifting, as the people keep growing, as they keep expanding their awareness and their abilities, as they keep opening to the world. So, it’s a challenge for us, but at the same time, it’s almost like a necessity to at least keep the space open for there to be dialogue around these things, or we’ll end up creating some situation where we’ll have to force people to leave us in order to keep expanding.
If you can allow another individual the total freedom to be who they are, without putting a limitation on who they can be, they never really have a need or a necessity to leave you in order to keep expanding. But if you force them into a place where they’ve got to make a choice between you and their own greater expansion, you're gonna be the looser. If there’s ever a question between one being true to their own being and being true to you, you’re gonna come up on the short end of the stick. So, it really takes a lot of bigness of heart for you to be able to be present with them, and to create an environment that is welcoming whatever growth or whatever expansion that they are capable of in this lifetime.

What is the most erogenous part of a woman's body?

The whole thing. Any part of a woman’s body is capable of being orgasmic. From her little toe to her teeth to… it doesn’t really matter. You can take any part of a woman’s body and turn it into an orgasmic experience she can hardly handle. It may take you a minute to figure out what the combination of that particular part of the body is. That leaves you with just a vast area to explore, meaning that you could go on for years and years, and never get back to the same spot, making the movement that minute from one spot to another. It would take you a lifetime to cover the whole thing. And with all the many different variations you can do with that spot… it’s on to infinity. So, the moment that you realize that, then the whole thing of the woman being "bored" is ‘cause the man has gone brain-dead. Basically, every time he encounters her, even if he went to exactly the same spot every time, it should still be a totally different experience, regardless. But then if you take into account that she’s got all these other places that you could go, then there’s absolutely no need for it to ever arise.

Sex and Romance

"Sex and romance never really meet.  Romance is in a certain way like a created idea, a mind thing.  Example: A man and woman are being totally present sitting having dinner.  A man is totally present sitting with a woman and is so present with her and taking in every little nuance of her movement, every little movement of her lips, everything.  It is because of his presence that he is taking this in.  It is not like he is sitting and gawking at her.  He is actually feeling how her movement cuts the air in the room.  He is feeling how, as she breathes out, her breath ricochets through her body.  He is that present and aware.

Someone sitting at the next table notices this amount of awareness and how the woman is practically having shivers.  She is practically orgasmic at the table.  So the person sitting looking on thinks, "How romantic".  But for the two people involved, this is not romance at all.  This is called being present.  Romance is almost unconscious therefore has developed as a way of mimicking someone who is present.

From that standpoint I would say that sex is something that would come naturally through presence and authenticity.  It could never be mimicked, never be performed.  It has to be felt and directly experienced.  Sex comes out of authenticity, and romance comes out of a mental attempt to displace something you are not actually in touch with."

How long should intercourse be?

 

Basically, there is no set time. I generally say to a man though, if you don’t have a … I mean, sure, a beautiful quickie is very powerful, especially if you’re with someone you’re already in a rhythm with, and you really understand what’s going on with their energy and so forth. But generally speaking, if you don’t have at least two and a half, three hours, minimum, you’re really not giving yourself enough space for the energy to really, totally build, and totally be able to ride the woman’s waves. So, you know, that would be optimum to have at least that span of time, so that you could really explore yourselves.

Live Video Stream Workshop

In November 2007, Nityama facilitated a 2-day mini-workshop for a small group of women in Australia. The workshop was facilitated via an Internet Video Call. The women all met at one location, and were able to see Nityama on a TV screen, hear him over a stereo system and communicate with him using a microphone.
